In progress...

I just wanted to show you some of what's been keeping me so busy lately. I've been working on an experiment -- my first piece done entirely in colored pencil.

This is just the beginning, and I wonder what I'm getting into, as I've been working on this (off and on) for over a month now, and I'm not even finished with the FACE! lol...

I think I should've started with a much larger size. The face alone is only about 2 inches from hair to chin...and so my poor eyes wear out pretty quickly. My poor old eyes! I know, get out the violins.

Anyway, since I took this pic about 2 days ago, the eyes are now brown. I thought a greenish-gray would be nice, but am liking the brown better.

At this rate I should be finished by 2010?

Hopefully sooner...

In the meantime, I'll be posting other pieces I'm working on, and invite you as always to check out the current men up for auction.
